Yes,yes, yes. Being a southern car, it's possible that it has very little rust. Look the car over real close before you commit to purchase.

I'd be curious how he knows it's a front pump.
I'd assume a complete transmission overhaul is in order. If you do the remove/install yourself, you're probably looking at $700-$1500 for a rebuild. Add $300-$500 if you have the shop do the remove/install.

I know here in OK, you can get a rebuild with a 1 year guarentee for 900 bucks. So if you're willing to shell out 900-1300 bucks to have the trans rebuilt. The rest of the car looks to be in pretty decent shape, in my opinion. If you want it, and are willing to put the time/work into it. Then anything is worth it right?

I could only view the first pic but it looks like there is some alignment issue between the fender and door.

Note that a stock '91 RS is going to be either the 5.0l V8 TBI engine, or the 3.1l V6 MPFI engine. Ad doesn't state which...
If the transmission really just needs a pump, they are easy to replace.

Beware of buying any car that "just needs"

If I bought the car, I would just rebuild the trans since your going to have it out anyway. There's a lot of sellers out there that says "just needs" (because there butcher mechanic says so) just to find out that's not the case. You pull the trans, replace the pump, put the trans back in, just to find out that the trans is burned up or the pump wasn't the problem. Then, you get to pull the trans back out so you can rebuild it. That's an awful lot of work when it should of been rebuilt the first time the trans was out. Thread
