EVAP delete... kinda

Had an idea... Can i take the line off my TB for the evap and will it still work but instead purge out into the atmosphere rather then my thorrle body. Or does it need manifold vacuum via the TB to purge???

Why would I want to?

Just looks cleaner, 1 less hose running to TB

Thoughts?

It will a little bit but not like it should. It really needs vac to work properly.
I know guys that run a hose from the gastank vent line to the inlet part of the airfilter housing. when the motor is running it just kinda sux vapors in. When its off you'll still get some fumes on a warm day tho.
