Steering column swap

I was wondering if any one knows what vehicles steering wheel columns can be used in a 91 camaro. I want to go to a junk yard and pull one but not sure which ones will fit. Any help would be great.

Re: Steering column swap

You will be better off repairing your column, the columns are specific for the thirdgens and some 88 and 89-92 use vats witch you will need to swap over your lock cylinder or bypass the vats.

Re: Steering column swap

I do have a new lock cylinder and my problem is the bearings on the upper part of the shaft in front of the pivot. I can not find these bearings any where they completely fell apart.

Re: Steering column swap

Also, they come right apart. Just put the ***** back into the plastic retainer, coat it with grease to hold the ***** in place and just put it back together.
