New coil, car still dies when warm.. help!!
Sorry if I'm asking the same question, but every thread I see has a slightly different problem.. I have a 1988 v6 camaro and the other day it died on me while driving, felt like it wasnt getting gas. We changed the fuel pump and filter about a month ago and tested fuel pressure yesterday so I think we can rule out that being the problem. Thought it might have been the coil but replaced that yesterday and took it for a drive, died after about 5 minutes. Will start up and run fine after it has cooled down. I'm picking up a module and pick up? to go inside the distributor later today (im not the mechanically inclined one just yet not sure about the names) the cap roter and wires were done just before I bought it a little while ago. I read that it could be one or some of the injectors not working properly to cause it to die? Any other suggestions besides taking a look at the injectors and fixing up the distributor?
Thanks in advance!!!

Sounds like your on the right track but just throwing parts at it gets pricey

Sounds like a module to me. It's held on by two bolts under the rotor.

If you have the stock injectors, just for the hell of it you might want to check the resistance on the injectors. The internal coil tends to fail when they are hot. Anything below 12 ohms is indicative of coil failure.

Ignition control module or injectors. Id put money on icm though. They die so easy.
