I have a 91 z28 camaro tpi and cant get it to start i know the fuel pump is working and it getting gas. i changed the fuel filter and it and both ends of the line had plenty of gas. and im getting a good spark from both the distributor cap and the other end of the wire and the throttle body is sucking air good. i even tried spaying starter fluid in the throttle body and nothing. its cracking just wont turn over at all as if not getting any gas. i changed the plugs and the wire bout two years ago when i got the car, so i dont think it that. any idea what could cause it to not what so ever other then the plugs?

 

If it won't fire up doing that ,you have no spark at the cylinder.
Just because you can see a spark , doesn't mean it is strong enough to fire the plug when it is wet in the cylinder

Are the spark plugs wet or dry when it won't start???

Just because the pump is " working" doesn't mean fuel is getting where it should.
Testing with a pressure gauge is the only way to confirm what is what

 

Just for the record...

Turning over = cranking

"start' = fire up, kick off,

Does it have a MAF ? if it does, unplug it. Try it ..... My GTA woundnt start till I unplugged it recently, MAF gone bad.

Worth a shot.

 

Pull the engine codes and see if you find anything
