Simple: Bolt/Tool accesss & turn dizzy

I see the dizzy bolt looks like 1/2 or bigger on pass side behind plenum. It looks like i am at 3deg advance base idle for 88 tpi lb9 auto.

the prom has 6 deg in the bin. so I want to adjust and it is running rich (think the MAF is off too)

What is best tool to losen and turn it appears hard to get a wrench or socket in the there?

Also side note. PO has spliced in wires across the coil (next to the dizzy?) going into the cabin. it is the white wire coming from the coil. What would this be for typically?

Distributor hold down bolt needs a 9/16" wrench. The off the shelf distributor wrenches do not fit the tight confines of TPI very well. I had to recurve one and it works great:

The white wire is for the tach signal.

You can also use a socket with a swivel and wobble-end but the wrench works better.
