yeah i have the maf sensor just not on the intake, but supposedly there are only 1426 of 89 irocs with this package, but it does have a slight kink from hitting the front end that needs to be either un bolted or cut out and straighten and re welded in.

it looks like an OK project car. I gather that it's a long term project being that you need to rebuild the engine and may as well do the tranny as well.

How is the interior, does it have all of the trim pieces? Are the door panels in good shape? How about the weatherstripping?

I put a new rug and headliner in for less money than what the weatherstripping cost.

The question is always the same: Is it rotted? If yes, it's a parts car. If not, you can work with it.

You are in California, but where has the car lived for the past 25 years?

Needs new interior, I hate the color, plastic is cracked seats are messed up, back seats aren't doing anything but growing mold and the car smells like cigarettes

Its solid, no rust at all, literally. Um and yes I need to rebuild the block, and I'm going to service the trans as well, but I'll eventually put a t5 or a t56 in it and change the rear end ratio

Looks like it was worth $700. Now prepare to spend another $20,000 or so to make it new again!
