HVAC vacuum line issue

I think I screwed up....

I installed new fuel injectors yesterday in my 89 IROC, ended up changing the whole TPI base manifold since I broke a bolt off in my thermostat housing. Thankfully I had a spare. Anyway... Now I have two vacuum lines that are disconnected, I know one goes to the heater control valve thing on the passenger side. Where does the other one go? These are the lines entering the engine bay through the firewall on the passenger side.

I should have marked them, took a picture or something but I was in a hurry... like usual. Those lines were falling apart too, so I removed them when changing the intake.

But I was reading on here that one of the lines feeds vacuum pressure to the HVAC controller. Evidently its supposed to have a one way check valve and a tee, going from the intake manifold to a vacuum canister? Is that correct? I don't remember seeing a one way check valve on mine when tearing it apart. Could I just run a line from the intake to the HVAC then the other line to the heater valve? Driving to work this morning sucked with no heat... ha ha

I'll take a picture of it at break time, once the sun comes up.

Thanks
