Edelbrock Manifold to '88 TBI 305

HI,
I have an '88 305 TBI roller engine from a Camaro that I would like to install in my old shop-truck.
The TBI and manifold are no longer on it and I have an older Edelbrock Performer manifold that I would like to use with a small Holley 4 barrel carb.
I know the angle of the manifold does not match the angle of the heads, so I was wondering if someone could tell me what to do to make the manifold work with this engine.
This is a very low budget build, but I would like to use this engine since it was strong when it was pulled out and is perfect for the truck.
Also...if someone knows of a cam I can use with the stock roller lifters, that would give it a nice healthy idle (not necessarily adding much HP, just a nice sound) I would appreciate a specific suggestion.
Build will probably include headers.
Thanks

If your sole purpose of changing out the cam is just for the sound ,
may as well save your $$ ; just take the mufflers off and just pull the choke out .
