Here's my setup

-350 from a 93 1500 with stock internals 72k miles
ARP main and rod bolts

World product s/r torquer heads with mild port work
67 cc with 1.5 roller rockers

Perforer Rpm air gap intake

15/8 hooker headers

700r4 with a 3200 stall

3:73 gears in the rear.



Now I already have a brand new comp cam 270h cam installed but I'm wondering if ill be dissapointed with the over all power. The car is a weekend warrior that will see decent amount of track time. Mainly road racing and drag racing. Goals are at least 350hp to the wheels and I would love to break into the 12's with slicks . Do you guys think my cam is big enough?

 

350 to the wheels is a pretty lofty goal for those heads, nevermind the cam.
What's the shortblock setup? type of pistons, deck clearance, CR/head gasket thickness? All that will determine IF it can even handle a bigger cam.

 

That block should have the 3 stud bosses in the valley so i would DEFINITELYswap that cam for a hhydraulic roller like the comp cams 503 or similar.

 

It might have the bosses,but if they are drilled and taped is a crap shoot.

Those heads flow fairly well with some port work about on par with vortecs. You should probably be between 330-350 crank HP.
