It could be several things, stock multec injectors, plugged cat , timing restarted, tuneup needed.

If the engine isn't going into closed loop make sure it has a thermostat installed and that the o2 isn't lazy.

The dying after 2 hours sounds like injectors. Ohm them when the engine is hot. If they are stock Multecs call southbay fuel injectors and get a set of there bosch 3s 22#hr

IIRC the LT1s will fit but they are 24#hr , they are Multecs and also like to fail with ethanol fuel there coils short out. The should be oming out 16-16.5 but if they are ohmed with the engine warm and are 12 or below there is your problem.

Re: (HELP) Losing power and car bogs out but idles fine

It sounds heat related and fuel system related if its taking a few hours to act up.
If the injectors check of check the fuel pressure when it acts up.

Re: (HELP) Losing power and car bogs out but idles fine

sounds like a failing pump (losing pressure as it warms up and then cutting out when you mash the gas)

connect a fuel pressure gage to the fuel rail pressure valve. start the car and see if pressure is withon specs at idle

low pressure is sign of a weak pump..

rev the engine.. pressure should remain within specs.. if pressure drops you have a bad pump.

Um...a fuel pressure test gage... and you connect to the test port on the fuel injector rail.

I thought that was pretty clear.

IF you don't want to buy one you can probably rent it from an auto parts store.
