Help clicking on crank,new starter
So I let my car sit for a few months and when I went to start it it had a good crank but wouldn't start, so I kept cranking until it was juts clicking.sounded like the starter probably happened from excessive cranking. So I out a new starter in and it does the same thing like the starter is trying to engage but not turning I tested the starter with a battery and jumper cables it worked fine. I have the purple wire connected on the smaller terminal closer to the engine block and the rest of the wires on bigger terminals. I had a battery booster connected to it because the battery was probably discharged from just sitting. It's a loud clicking that's all I'm getting.

Turn on the lights, see if they dim out. If they don't check the block ground and the connection at the starter. If the lights dim check the connections at the battery. I would check those anyways probably, but there's a good chance they're just loose or have some corrosion. You can heat copper to a point it gets a funky layer that seems to add resistance as well. Doing above should help you isolate it though. If that doesn't work go below and take something metal and try to bypass the starter noid and see how it works.

Re: Help clicking on crank, new starter
I jumped a wire from the battery power terminal to the purple wire contact point, nothing happens I took the starter off jumped onto purple wire it engages jumped onto both the bigger terminal and purple it spins, so there is something wrong with the wiring/relay or ignition switch. My gear selector does look kind of messed up I have a aftermarket b&m megashifter with the supplied relays but the contact points on relay were a little messed so I straight wired them to see if it would work. Anyone know where the starter enable relay is located and how to test the ignition switch?

Battery not strong enough to turn the motor?
Try to jump start it. Or do as said above -- see if your headlights are dim. Turn the radio on. Try the turn signals. A weak battery will not turn over a motor.
If the battery is good & strong, check all connections, looking for loose nuts // pinched or bare wires,
and check the fusreable links for signs of over heating // melting.
