Choices and opinions NEEDED!

From my last post I was told to start work on my carb but instead of that im gonna buy a new one and use my old one to rebuild. I have 2 choices so far that are listed here:
1405 electric choke carb 600cfm
www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/1405/10002/-1

18064 electric choke carb 650 cfm
http://www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/18064/10002/-1

What I wanna know is what will the difference in jets and metering rods do for my mildly built chevy 350. Which one would be better for PEEFORMANCE (throttle response/ etc.)

1405: Comes with .100 Primary, .095 Secondary Metering Jets; .070 x .047 Metering Rods; Orange 5" Hg Spring

18064:Includes: Metering Jets- Primary .095", Secondary .098"; Metering Rods - .068" x .047:; Step-Up Springs - Orange (5" Hg).

Edelbrock carbs are the LAST place I'd ever look to make consistent tuning and power.
