vortec heads and mother thumper cam
http://www.alexsparts.com/valve-spri...d-flat-tappet/ found these springs and thought they would be ok but just looking over cam card and dont think they will work. Dont know how to post pics so all I can do it post links. This is the cam I got http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cc...01-8/overview/ anybody have vortec heads and running this cam? I already got my vortec heads back from machine shop. Milld and machined for PC seals machined for guide plates and screw in rocker studs 3 angle valve job and new valve guides. I dont know the spec of installed height right now but I know I got alot more clearance with the PC seals

You should run this kit and shim to 130 lbs on the seat:

Look closely. You want the VSK600VFR kit, not the VSK600VFT that you linked.
It's looks like their "webmaster" has been in there editing things. The write-up under ...VFR used to say 130 lbs seat; now it states you need to shim to get to that.

Ok I got it. I see the part number now. But instead of VFT like you said I need. Did you mean VHR?
