problems when filling up.

Engine: 305 tpi
Transmission: 95 T56
Axle/Gears: stock 10 built, yukon diff, 4.10
problems when filling up.

when i go to put gas in the car, i can not hold the lever wide open ever. only half way. ive always had this problem just dealt with it. what could be the problem?

It's nothing to do with the car and everything to do with the pumps that you're pumping at.

If the gas pump is turned up too high then it causes the nozzle to kick of prematurely or when held wide open.

(I used to work at a BP in high school, so I'm not making this up).

im pretty sure its the car because its at all pumps. doesnt matter what gas station i go to. never been able to hold it wide open.
