Hey
Have a idle problem and have chance the IAC and TPS but it still idles bad.
Today i did ohm out the injectors and have 2 at 8-9 ohm and 4 at 12 ohm and 2 to at 16 ohm is this the problem or ?
I have no vaccum leak
Then the car is cold it idles okay but when its gets hot the idle goes up and Down

Hi Claus ,

Yes , you have bad injectors . When you mention a couple at 8 ohms and a couple at 16 ohms , that's all the proof that's needed . There is a TGO sponsor company called "South Bay Injectors" that you should check with for replacements . This company is highly regarded here at TGO and will do you justice on a set .

PS , that's quite a range of ohms readings , 50% is far outside of any acceptable tolerance for anything that should match as close as possible ..

Yes , it's normal that some injectors are noisier than others . My new ones may a somewhat louder clicking than my old ones also , and have happily clicked for a couple of years now .

 

Mine are also noisy. But they work fantastic. Just close the hood and move along!
