No Spark after engine swap

I swapped a non-cc 355 into my V6 car. It cranks, but no spark. I have 12v at the coil (in cap) on both red and yellow wires, its grounded, wires from the ICM to cap have a good connection. The ICM is new. I ohmed out the pick up and its within range (about 800ohms). I even swapped another cap/rotor with an external coil and still no spark. Any thoughts here?

Re: No Spark after engine swap

Hi Dave ,

I know you mentioned a new ICM , but do you happen to have another you could try ? I only ask because I once got 2 in a row bad brand new ICMs and it took till the 3rd one till I got one that worked . My suspicion is that folks buy em , smoke em , return em , and we end up with them after they end up restocked rather than thrown away .

I said screw it and got another ICM, that was the issue. Nice strong spark now.
