The information you've provided does not help with an ID at all. Can't say much other than it's probably a 350 SBC. Treat it as a core.

Since I doubt anyone would swap to those crappy heads it is probably a 350, you could pop a head off and measure the bore and stroke.

See if there are any suffix numbers still stamped on the pad on the deck in front of the passenger head.

Re: can not read casting number

If the pad on the passenger side front is blank then the motor has been decked... you'll have to measure how much to figure out heads/head gasket choice and such.

Re: can not read casting number

behind the the flywheel is 207 and 509 and on both sides of the block is 207. other then that the pad on the front is bearly readable i think there is a 8 and t other then that nothing.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: can not read casting number

207 = early 80s 350 block

14010207

624 = 70s smogger garbage of the worst kind; makes an OK doorstop; not much else

Looks like you have a collection of parts, not any kind of original "engine"; so look at the rest of the parts, and they just are whatever they are
