Car is a 87 Camaro 305 TPI. Just finishing up a install and have a couple questions.
1. I believe the plug at the back of the motor driver side is for the neutral safety switch. Plug has orange/black anf black wire... Where does this plug into? Should it drop down to the transmission?
2. Where does the hard vacuum line go that's on the passenger side, it kind of goes into the wiring harness.
3. Is this the right pipe to go to the valve cover? If not what is it suppose to look like.
Thanks for the help.

I'm not too sure of item's # one and three , but the plastic hard line in picture two certainly is the vacuum control for the Heater control valve . The heater control valve will be a black plastic device that is plumbed into the hoses that bring hot coolant to the heater core .

Pic 3 is the right tube, but you need to flip it or turn it around. It may be even the drivers side tube. It sorta runs along the valve cover and runner. That don't look right.
Pic 2 goes to heater control valve

Thanks for the help. What would be the best solution for my coolant hoses.. All I need is coolant to go to the heater core. No AC, Oil cooler and don't care for the coolant to go to the TB. Can I just bring one line to the heater core from the T off the hard line?
Where should I look for the connector in the first picture? Seems like I've been over the harness a few times with no luck.

that plug looks like it could be to EGR solenoid? and the line from pic 3 doesnt look stock, the stock one tucks inbetween the valve cover and intake and runs neatly up to the throttle
I've read that that plug is for the park/neutral switch.. it effects what the motor revs at when it's in park or neutral in closed loop condition. I just can't figure out where it plugs into, not sure if i'm missing part of a harness

It looks like the EGR Solenoid plug. Not sure of the color of wires. Do you have a EGR Solenoid hooked up? It would be right there in the vicinity of the coil bracket; under it.Originally Posted by thunder57

I just can't figure out where it plugs into, not sure if i'm missing part of a harness I have another plug that goes into the EGR, but they are very similar. The wires going to this one is orange and black on one, and black on the other. I did some research on wiring diagrams and included what I found.
This plug is right in the back of the driver side valve cover area, been over everything a couple times and cannot seem to find anywhere to plug it in.
