1990 3.1 Wont start and Run

I have a 1990 3.1 Camaro thats had several issues of the past few years. I can not get it to start and run. It seems as if there is no fuel pressure. The fuel pump was replaced as was the relay switch and I just replaced a bad injector. The only thing I can see out of place is that several of the vacuum lines coming off the throttle body are broken and gone, including the one that runs to the fuel pressure regulator. I really could use some help in figuring this out. Thanks for the help in advance.

For some history this thread was started 2 years ago when I last looked into this. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...regularly.html

Are you testing fuel pressure with a gauge?

Not this time, but there is literally no fuel there at all even though the pjmp is on. I plan on picking a new gauge up.

Plus. Why replace just one injector? Were the rest "new"? Usually best to replace them as a set. Check the Southbay set. Good price.

I wanted to see if the one bad one being replaced would at least get it started. i have every intention of doing them all once I can get it running. Cant really dump a lot of money into it right now, just need to get it where i can move it around the yard until I can take care of the rest of it.

If you're going to do all the work to replace one injector then you may as well do them all. That way you know they are all good and the car might run a lot better. Check the fuel pressure regulator too. At least pull the FPR vacuum line and smell for gas.

I will check the line for the smell. the line is intact to the T splitter, but the line that goes from the T to the throttle body is gone. Should I plug it at the T? Or is it useless not going to the throttle body. I am going to try to find some replacement lines at lunch today. But i havent had much luck so far.

The line that goes to the throttle body is what supplies the vacuum which controls the FPR so it's required for correct operation. You should fix any/all vacuum leaks before trying anything else. Also, if the injectors are original or even really old they likely need to be replaced anyway. And if you're pulling the intake stuff to replace the injectors I think it's worth replacing the diaphragm in the FPR too if it's original. That way you know they are good and shouldn't need to dismantle it again.
