1985 Iroc z28 code 22
I'm getting a code 22, I replaced the TPS sensor with a brand new one today but I'm still getting a high idle and hard/delay shifts. Also I'm still getting the code after replacing it, what is the next possible issue it could be?

I will give that a shot, I've tried adjusting it also and it still runs terrible, idles high and delayed shifts and bad throttle response. So if the disconnecting the battery cable doesn't work im going to assume its a bad connection

If you have a high idle, I would try resetting the Idle Air control valve and adjusting minimum air screw. It's jobs is to allow a minimum amount of air through the throttle body and if it gets stuck open, to much air will be fed through the throttle body which will cause high idling and can cause improper air/fuel mixture.
