Fouled plugs

Changed plugs 4 months ago. Car sat for about 2 months after that. how could the plugs be so bad so fast? It's the first and third on the driver side. Does the inside of where the plugs go need to be cleaned? How would I do that if so?

3 of the others seem perfect. I wasn't able to check the first one on ppassenger side(pita one) because the boot actually seperated from the wire(napa wires are crap I'll be returning them) , but for now I'll assume that one is good also

Re: Fouled plugs

I'm reading up a lot on cleaning the spark plug holes. Is it really safe to spray carb cleaner/seafoam down in there? I'm changing out my fuel injectors this week too so I figure I'll just hit as many things as possible

Re: Fouled plugs

Looks oil fouled, worn valve guide seals would do that. The tell tell sign of worn valve guide seals is a puff of oil smoke on start up.

There's no puff of smoke on startup that i've ever seen. not once anywhere. I'm planning on putting seafoam in the oil, and down the spark plug cylinders, letting in sit in the cylinder well for a while, then starting it up with the ignition wire seperate and plugs out. supposedly itll just kick all of the gunk right out of it? is this actually ok? It shouldn't hydrolock anything since there's nothing to trap it in correct?
