Removing OEM oil pan
Does anyone know if the OEM oil pan can be removed on an '85 IROC Z 305TPI without raising the motor or disconnecting the motor mounts?? Thanks...Joe

Hey Joe, nice font.
You will need to raise it a few inches and put blocks under the mounts.
You might want to take your dizzy cap off to.

I had to lift the engine slightly out of the engine bay to change the pan

You've got to love those damn GM engineers. I'd like to kidnap them and make them remove and replace my oil pan. I've already done this on my old '78 Merc cougar.
