What is this that's hanging down on the passenger side.

 

Looks like the computer or the piece that the computer connects to.

Looks like ECM mounted to the plastic mounting bracket and your floor light without a bulb. Don't worry, that's just the brains of your can hanging there

 

maybe ur ECM is trying to tell u something

 

The thing with the orange and white wires, is the socket for the light bulb for the passenger side.

Im new so just help me out. So, your saying if I put in a aftermarket carb, I can get rid of all that computer shiznit? If so, im gonna do it as soon as I switch my motors!!!

Since I am no longer using my ECM then I can just disconnect this thing and lose a little weight. In response to the aftermarket carb, if you get a NON CC carb then you also have to get a NON CC distributor or you'll mess things up.

 

You got me, I left my car at home after the thanksgiving break and took my mom's car back up to college, I come back and get in the car and there it is just hangin there.
