Good Luck. If you find out please let me know. I just recently swapped to a 355 in my 86 TA and eliminated the AC. I ran into the same problem you have. At first I was just going to hook the AC bracket back up without the AC on there just so I could use the power steering pump. Well, when I tried that I found out I couldn't do that because now the AC bracket won't fit due to the headers I put on there.

I had to make a custom bracket using part of the smog pump bracket since I eliminated the smog pump. The homemade bracket worked for about two months but it's too weak and now I have problems with my power steering at low rpms.

I went to the local parts store and they suggested A. going to a salvage yard and getting a bracket off a non-AC car or B. going to a welding shop somewhere and having them make me a custom bracket.

I think if I could find the part number for the non-AC bracket I'd just go ahead and order one from GM.

I have one from my 85 Sport Coupe. I might let it go for a few bucks. E-mail me at DunawayD@twmi.rr.com if you want.
