what size is the dipstick hole?

I need to know the exact size of the dipstick hole on a 1977 350 chevy motor. i need this so I can plug the hole, as I cannot run use a dipstick with my exhaust manifolds. TIA.

yah, sux dont it, I assume you may already know this, but maybe you wont,
if you put headers on it, then the dipstick will work.

yeah, i knew that, I just figured I can spend $1 on a freeze plug or at least $200 on headers. I just don't have the money laying around right now.

If you are using an oil pan adapter to use a right hand dipstick, could you post the manufacturer and part #?
