Flooding and bogging!!!! Wtf
Flooding and bogging!!!! Wtf
Thanks in advance. I have a 88 GTA and it won't start unless I floor it. When it does start it boggs and misfires. I can rev it and keep it running only with throttle input. The car will not idle and smells like raw fuel bad. I'm lost. Replaced plugs, wires, coil, no cat, and I'm lost. It ran fine for a almost 100 mile trip. Got home and degreased the engine. This is when all the trouble started. Thanks in advance for your input. Also replaced fuel pressure regulator.

Thanks for pointing me in the general direction. I have not tested the fuel injectors yet. I have also replaced the wires, plugs, and coil. Also checked the distributor cap and rotor. I just don't understand why it can make a trip of that distance and the do all this. I have a new ignition control module I'm going to install tomorrow. I can rev it to about 3k and it runs smooth only misfires intermittently but when it does it almost dies. Also smells like raw fuel vary bad. Almost to the point of it burning my eyes.

You can see if it’s a injector bye using a fuel pressure tester. If the fuel pressure drops right after prime it’s a injector. Especially since you have a new fpr you know the diaphragm is good.
You could start pulling plugs to see if it’s isolated to a cylinder.

Thanks for the advice y'all. I tapped each injector with a small S&S tool. The car started right up. Needless to say I'll be ordering new injectors from South Bay. Again thanks for all the help and advice.

The degreaser you used has likely either ;
