Rear Drum Brakes

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this. I was trying to adjust my rear drum brakes on my TA and when I jacked it up to pop off the dust cover to get to the star wheel . There isn't a hole in my backing plate. I always thought that was done at the factory.

Sometimes you have to break out the stamped piece and fit the rubber plug yourself. Cost savings.

That's how my Suburban was. PITA.

You can always adjust it by removing the drum to adjust the start wheel. Longer process, but do-able.
