AC Delete
I'm looking to delete my A/C Compressor and all that stuff associated with A/C pretty quick. I see AC Delete pulley's for like $35 at Autozone but then I see pulley's at reputable websites for like $100+. Should I be cautious as to which pulley I choose? Or I wonder if I can just eliminate the darn thing and get a shorter belt? In which case, is there a tensioner that I need to invest in? Thanks in advance!

Re: AC Delete
I think you would need an entire new serpentine system like a March or similar to eliminate the pulley completely.
I used an AC Delco delete pulley. It's only been on for a few days but seems fine. I read some bad reviews of the Dorman unit's alignment.

Re: AC Delete
If you want to just pull out the compressor, the best way to go is the GM AC delete pulley and bracket, there are plenty of "real" ones around at wreckers and such, but if you are gonna take the whole system out, you need to get a whole list of parts, and there are a variety of ways to achieve the end result.... If you don't care about AC - and lots of people don't - there are a lot of performance positives to deleting it.
