where does this broken vacum line go - 1986 2.8l v6 mfi

I have a 1986 Camaro with a 2.8L v6 engine and 5 speed transmission.
The car has NO air conditioning and NO cruise control, just a base model.

I had taken it to Firestone when I first got it and they disconnected, poked and prodded her
before telling me they could not fix her. (she needed a distributor)
I took her to a frind that's a mechanic and the car has been repaired, but has a miss and I am trying to track it down.

I found one very "thin" hard plastic line that is broken, but cannot figure out where it connects at.
I have looked and looked, even checked my 1986 Haynes manual and the internet to no avail.
Can someone look at the attached photo and tell me where to connect or replace the line to on the engine?

I also have 2 - metal valve covers I found under the hood and I am sure they are probably off my fuel injection system (Firestone again), but don't know what I am looking for. They look like the ones on the charging port for refrigerant/Freon, but the car has NO air conditioning and they are also not color coded red/blue (high/low pressure)

Many thanks in advance,

That vacuum line goes over to your evap canister, it appears to also connect to throttle body on its way to the canister

@jstadmud
Thank you so much,,, yes I can see where it will go.

What about the 2 caps/covers for threaded line of some type?
Would these be off my fuel injection or "lines"...??

I found one by my battery and one by the firewall/windshield wipers when I got my car back from Firestone (what a joke they are)...

The line in question connects to the Vacuum Regulator Valve (Left Middle of the diagram). This controls the EGR valve. Without it, your EGR system will not function, and I have noticed a decrease in performance with it disconnected, and It is nearly impossible to find a replacement hard plastic line. It will also cause a vacuum leak from the throttle body.

If you have no A/C the only place I can think they would be from is somewhere on the fuel rail/lines, not sure how the 2.8 is set up. I've always been all about the horsepower of a V-8 myself. Maybe post a few pics of your engine from all different angles and see if anyone can shed light on where they might go
