83 Camaro connectors

83 Camaro connectors
Hi guys,
I picked up this 83 Camaro for my 17 year old son to work on. I got it from an older guy who has been tinkering with it for the last 6 years. It has sat idle for the last year and we bought it.
It was originally a 305 with a 5 speed. The guy put a rebuilt 1976, 4 bolt main 355 in it, along with a 700R4 transmission. Now since my son and I have been working on it, I learned very quickly that the guy was a hack.
Bottom line, the car's frame and undercarriage is as solid and intact as you can get, so it has an solid foundation to build on. We started at the back of the car and worked forward. We retraced all his steps, made the corrections, and did own upgrades and mods. Now we are getting down to the nitty gritty.
I am going to need some help and input. There are some left over wiring harness and wires in the engine bay. There is no EGR on this new set up. The motor also has an Edelbrock Performer intake.
If I could start with getting some input on 2 of the plugs I have found, it would get me started. The first one, comes out by the main harness on the driver's side. The second one is just hanging by the passenger side. I will attach 3 photos, one of what the engine looks like and then one each of the harness.
Thanks ahead of time for the input and help!
Regards.

Re: 83 Camaro connectors
#2 is cruise control.
#3 is the battery feed to the high-speed blower motor relay.
In the future, when you ask about wiring, let us see the color of the wires. It REALLY helps with some of these things.

Thanks for the quick response, and in the future, you are correct, one important detail will be to include the colour!
Thanks again and I hope you don't mind, I have only one more wiring harness to post. Unfortunately, I am not the best with computers,,,,still. Once my son is out of the shower, I will post it and hopefully that will be it!
Thanks again!

Thanks for the help! So far so good! Now, hope you guys don't mind, I have one more set of wires. I pulled them out of the wire loom to se them better. The one harness has a green and black wire going to it. The single wire with a locking type of spayed connector is light blue.

Re: 83 Camaro connectors
The connector in your right hand with the DK GRN and BLK wire looks to be for the A/C compressor clutch. The give-away is the diode that is crimped into the connector terminals. Which would also have been wrapped in a piece of black duct tape.

Awesome!
Thanks again for the help! I think at this point, the extra left over harness/leads can be taped and covered up, and neatly tucked away.
We have the mechanicals working decently now. I pulled out my old Snap-On timing gun and showed my son how to set timing. We still need to put an exhaust system on it.
All in all, progress being made and thanks to all for the help and input.
Regards,
Matt.
