Liland global 21 gallon tank

If I'm posting in the wrong place, please let me know. I"m looking for information on Liland Global PN: IGM201SS fuel tank. It is a 21 gallon tank that is supposed to fit 81-87 Camaros. The only product pictures I can find show the filler neck on the rear of the tank. I don't really trust product pictures because they normally show a representation of the product and not necessarily what you're actually ordering. I would like to go this route to try and avoid having to refill every 200 miles (or less) when my build is complete. I really want to know if it will go in place of the original tank with no (or little) modification and if the filler neck is in the right place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Liland global 21 gallon tank

Based on the picture (72 to 81 Camaro) and the part number, which is the Spectra GM201 part number for the 72 to 81 Camaro tanks with some extra numbers added we can safely conclude that this is a rebranded and marked up Spectra 72 to 81 tank where they have messed up the interchange data.

Having done third gen tanks (at least 3) I can't see where you could put all that extra fuel.

I just went to rock auto and checked what you said. Same tank and part numbers. Somewhere, someone ****ed up the info like you said. Thanks for the help!
