So I decided to take my 85 Trans Am out for a quick ride this weekend. Haven’t driven it in a couple of months and I live in the northeast so cold. Started and stalled once in the garage then backed out into the driveway and it stalled again. This time when I turned the key dash lights come on and a click but absolutely nothing from the engine. Some of the reading I’ve done seems similar to an ignition switch problem. Wonder if others had a similar experience.

 

Fusible links, ignition switch, poor connections in various places are prime suspects.
