I’ve been working on swapping out my intake since 6am and can’t for the life of me remember where the other end of the black connector for the coil plugs in...any description of where to find the connector would be greatly appreciated.
I am thinking it’s on the driver side but I can’t find it...
Wow, time to stop for the day...in my haze I plugged the IAT plug in the icm, same plug style.
Thanks for saving me from wasting more time. I am taking a rest.
Exactly the same what happened to the mechanic of a good friend. The car sat about one year cause he couldn't find the issue why it didn't start after intake gasket replacement. It took me 5 minutes to find the issue. The coil cable was plugged to the IAT and the IAT was plugged into the ICM.
That makes me feel better, now I hit a roadblock where my plenum seems to be hitting on the fuel rail crossover line. Only reason I can think is because I used 2 washers( equivalent of an extra fuel injector O ring) on each fuel rail post to give the injectors a bit more room to seat which I heard was a somewhat common things with the big mouth intake. Looking like I might need to grind a bit on the bottom of the plenum to make it right, it’s pretty close.
