Possible VATS or other electrical issue???
My 1989 firebird formula has the 305 TBI 5 speed. Just last year I replaced vats key and key cylinder in steering colum. 9 months later (now) I am having similar issues when the vats was the problem. When I put the key in, the buzzer goes off and done light goes on if door is open. If I put it in run position windows roll up ajd down and same with everything else electrical works. But as soon as I turn the switch over to crank the car over it dies, everything shuts off. Amps drop to 0 lights turn off and I Have to take the key out to turn the lights back in. Help 😭😭😭
