Need some insight
This is going 70 mph down the highway
I have an 88 IROC-Z was having problems with it it would run good for a while and then it wouldn’t start thought it was the fuel pump replaced that ran great for a while then it started dying on me at stop lights stop signs if I slowed down to much for a turn only way I could get it to start up again was to pump the gas while turning it over then one night it wouldn’t start been sitting for about a month replaced plugs wires cap rotor ignition coil and then I just dropped a new distributor in last night started up and was running fine tried to drive it to work today (it’s my daily) on the way there the performance was acting funny and I realized my oil pressure gauge was on zero got to work when I tried to leave at lunch to go fix it had trouble getting it to start then when I got to the drive way I stopped to open the gate and it died and I wasn’t able to get it to start the timing was running a little high also need some advice

Re: Need some insight
So you knowingly see ZERO oil pressure on the gauge and continue to drive the car?
You had better hope that you have a bad gauge, bad sending unit, or wiring problem in that gauge circuit.
Otherwise you will be looking for a new engine.
