What do you use as modern vacuum lines?
Hi,My engine is a stock 1986 tpi 305I'm planning on replacing the old broken plastic vacuum tubes, rubber connectors and hoses, but I guess modern vacuum lines are used today to replace the outdated plastic tubes that GM used in the 80s.
For this reason, I ask for your help in deciding the best current solution alternatives for vacuum lines.
Thanks in advance,

I would use this site to look up part numbers for the plastic stuff to replace:
http://www.austinthirdgen.org/parts/html/main1.htm
I measured the ID of the hoses that needed replacing with digital calipers, then went to my local auto parts store and told them how many feet of it I needed.

Same, regular vacuum hose worked good for me when the old stuff got brittle and started to break.

But, common rubber hoses or special silicone hoses?
(some e-bay chinese silicone hoses collapse with the engine vacuum. Hoses having thick walls are required )
Thanks
