Smoking near headers

1985 camaro z28 with a 383 stroker. I recently replaced my headers and my valve cover gaskets. However, there seems to be smoke coming from the passenger side header: https://imgur.com/a/mFKDZ08
The car is currently on open headers, no y pipe. The passenger side header starts smoking when the car is running after it warms up (~3 mins). When I shut the car off, a lot of smoke comes from all over the engine bay (near carb, right and left header). Note that the smoke was happening on the passenger side on the old headers as well. I'm confused as to what could be causing this smoke. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Smoking near headers

That's what it looked like when my valve cover gasket was torn / not sealing correctly. All brand new headers will smoke a little though. If they don't have high temp paint, they'll smoke a lot for a while.

I just replaced them with felpro gaskets. So I feel fairly certain that they aren't leaking unless there's something wrong with the head surface/valve cover surface. They are painted but it only likes to smoke from passenger side for some reason
