In search of 86 Shop/Service Manual

I'm looking for a pdf version of the 86 or earlier shop/service manual. I need to see some troubleshooting flow charts for the map sensor circuit on a LG4. Willing to purchase.

Thanks,

I have paper copy of 1987 manual. Probably the same. I'll see if can take pictures of the pages and PM if no one else pipes up.

That would help me out for sure! I'm attempting to build an adjustable regulator for the input voltage on the map sensor but the Haynes/Chilton manuals don't have any useable info.

The 5V reference source for the MAP is shared with the TPS and Baro sensor in the factory wire harness. It originates at pin 21 on the ECM.

It would be possible to split the wire harness and slave in a separate source to the MAP, but for what purpose?

I'm running the CCC system with a tight LSA cam. Everything works decently but I need more fine tuning. Basically, at idle in gear the lack of vacuum is causing issues for the computer. If I can adjust the voltage input on the map sensor I can theoretically move the value it's providing the computer to a range that's "acceptable".

I'm planning on installing a 12v regulator, but I need to better understand how the computer is reading the sensor and what range it considers acceptable at idle. Details here: http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoMAPsensor.htm

I have a 1986 shop manual. Are these the pages you are looking for?

Thanks, all. Aaron sent over some scans that I was able to use. I got all of the parts for the regulator so I'm hoping to have some results shortly.
