I have a 1991 Camaro Z28 5.7 TPI with a loose vacuum hose on the passenger side.
I have been doing some work and change the heads and cam on my car and now when i start to put all the vacuum lines back in place i can not remember where this one goes to. I have found everything else but this one i have not.
So if anyone know i would appreciate the help🙂
I have been looking and searching everywhere and can not find any information where this vacuum hose goes to.
On my car the plenum has two vacuum ports, one goes to the map sensor and the other one goes to a check valve and has a T connection and vacuum hoses already attached to it. So i dont have any ports there that is not attached to something already in the plenum.
Do you happen to know where the other side on that vacuum line goes to? Is it somewhere on the driver side or passager side?
90-92 tpi plenum has 3 ports.
front map sensor.
middle fuel psi regulator
Rear, to checkvalve to split one feeds the hvac and the other feeds cruise control/ vacuum ball.
i may have middle and rear swapped
I must look that up today. When you say that it has a third port it rings a bell somewhere that that is true. Thank you guys for the help! I really appreciate it🙂
I have looked now, one goes to the fuel pressure regulator, one to the map sensor and the last one to the hose with the checkvalve and a T on it. One of those goes inside the car through a hole in the firewall under the steering colum and the second one to the cruise control
The hard vacuum tube run over the coil, goes forward to the top of the heater control valve.
Do you have a picture of the heater control valve where it goes to? Is it on the firewall or? Im not where i have the car right now. And will not be back there before tomorrow.
Thank you for the help!
