Weiand 8000 or 7525

Hey everyone. Doing intake gaskets and was about to put back on my weiand 8000 intake, then remembered I had a 7525 team g in storage.
Now I'm debating which one to put back on.

383 with RHS 200cc heads, comp 286hr cam, hedman mid length headers into flomaster 30 series single. Quadrajet carb.

Ran 117mph in the quarter with the 8000.

Opinions?

Re: Weiand 8000 or 7525

The Weiand Team G is a competition-focused single-plane intake built for maximum high-RPM horsepower (typically 2,000 to 8,500 RPM), while the Weiand Action Plus 8000 is a dual-plane street manifold optimized for everyday drivability and torque across an Idle to 6,000 RPM range.

It's not hard swapping intakes. Try the 8000 and see how it runs and what it traps...then use the one that works best and/or you like the best.
