Stumbling and flickering lights after minor front collision! Help!
Something really weird is happening to my 88 GTA ever since I had a minor collision yesterday.
I was driving down the highway today when my car began to stumble. After about 15 mins the stumbling became worse, and then about 10 mins later I was lucky to make it home!
What happens during this stumbling is that the digital dash lights flicker during the stumbling as if their was a loose battery cable. I checked the cables and they were on there nice and tight. The alternator is charging perfect and everythiong seems to be fine. Is it possible that maybe a wire was chaffed during the collision and is hitting against metal and in effect short out the cars electrical system? Or would a shock sensitive sensor such as the MAF sensor be causing my problems? Any ideas where I should look?
Please help as this bird of prey is grounded and wounded
