Video of my car running after the TPI, CAM, Headers, exhaust, etc....
Here is a video of the car taken yesterday afternoon in front of the house.
Cam sounds good, did a couple of burn outs, etc....

I think I might go with a spoiler, still can't decide.
If I get one, I want it to be different, not like everyone elses.

I think that thing looks pretty cool and mean without a spoiler. Don't get a stock spoiler no matter what!

When it warms up, it idles at 1100 and I can't get it to go down.
I can't get the ECM to talk to the scanner either.
But I have a 5 speed and Idle should be around 450-500 according to the instructions I got from Fuel Injection Specialties.
I didn't get the TPI from them, only the instructions on settiing it up.

Your car sounds sweet! You have given me new hope for my 305 TPI T/A. Good job and get that spoiler

Spoiler is up in the air, I will probably put one on, but I want to find one that not a lot of people have. It has to look like it belongs on the car though, none of that Metal Erector set looking spoilers.

It is totally untuned and there is so much more power in her.
Tore up a stock 86 305 TPI auto by more than 10 car lengths the other night, I hit 105mph to his 70-75mph(when I hit my brakes he checked his speed then called me on the cell complaining about how slow his car is compared to mine).

Well the cam specs are 272/284 454/480 advertised.
I got the video into the computer with a Matrox RT2000 editing system my brother has. Shot the video with his Canon XL-1.
The compressed AVI looks much much cleaner than the mpeg but it is 68megs as opposed to 11megs.
I can probably get the size down a little bit more, I'll try using the Divx codec.
And the exhaust and all the mods on the car are in my sig.
Pacesetter 3" catback, came right off of a 95 Trans Am and bolted right up to my 86.

I get my video to my computer through my ATI Tv wonder (USB
) and its decent but like 150MB. Then when I compress it with mpeg, it goes down to a few megs, but the sound takes a crap
Anyways, I REALLY like your car!!!!

thanks,
I have an ATI All-in-Wonder Pro128 in my machine, I just don't have the drive space to capture anything. My bro's machine has about 220 gigs of space for video and since he left the company he was a partner of, his machine and camera are here at the house.

That car just sounds mean. I want to get my exhaust on so bad. Maybe then I will get some hearing back, and will be able to enjoy the sound. Terrific job on all your work.

Zepher: Your car is a TOTAL *BEAST* GREAT JOB!!! How does that cam idle? What are your future plans? I wouldn't drop in a 350, it'd be more unique with a 305. Also, how much did the springs lower it? I'm thinking about lowering my Camaro and your height looks perfect.

I burn my own proms, better that way, and much cheaper in the long run for making custom chips.

I didnt think you could run the big of a cam with the stock prom?
buy the way is the a comp cam, or crane computercams, love the sould reminds me of the old muscle car sound

I ordered the Crane Cams Compucam 2050.
Inside the box it says "PowerMax 2050 (formerly CompuCam 2050)"
I really like this cam, makes my car sounds awesome and feels so strong. I've got 275/40/17 tires on my car and I can chirp second and third. If I am spinning through first, I'll spin through second as well.
Now I just got to get a set of decent heads to slap on the car.

Looks good. I strongly stand by keep the spoiler off, it looks much meaner to me that way. It has a very sleek look with it being lowered, the wheels... a dark paint job would make it perfect, though I know your going with a silver type paint job.
Anyways, nice work with it all, I gotta agree about the neighbor comment, mine would be ready to go off on me. They always yell at me for just driving the speed limit, it seems they don't like even the slightly bit of loud exhaust.
Lets try to get some timeslips up when it's in tune. Nice video too.
Make us another one, we rarely see thirdgens in videos.

Thanks,
I plan on taking her to the track asap when it opens to see if I wasted my money or not.
If I can get my ECM to talk to the Scanner and have my gutted cat put back on I'll try and take her to the Dyno and see how much RWHP I am putting down.
There will be lots of videos posted in the next few months, gonna try and get as much footage of my car as possible.
