It depends which vette L98 you are looking at. Is it from an '85/'86 vette, or is it from an '87 to '91 vette. The later vette L98's should be a little pricy (seen 'em on ebay for $1300+) because they have the aluminum "113" heads among other things, while the '85 and '86 (some '86's got the aluminum heads, some didn't) vettes were non-roller(?) engines with standard cast iron heads ie a basic f-body L98. These motors SHOULD go for around the same price as an f-body L98 (about $600-$900), although it might go for more because its a "corvette" motor.

Oh **** that would be fvckin sick! I was thinkin of gettin 383 if my engine ever went out, but a Corvette would be even better, cheaper too. I love being the underdog (Camaro) to the topdog (Corvette). Cuz Corvette doesn't have much aftermarket, but we have it better! We have aftermarket AND Corvette supplies, it rules.

A corvette engine is nothing special. Corvettes have all the aftermarket parts we do. The engine is pretty much identical. Physically 100% interchangeable.
