If you dont mind, how about some info? (smog/motorswap related)
Ok, here it is. I am taking a non-running LG4 out of my '86 Z-28. I am putting a 350, bored .040 over, 305 heads (i think angle ground), flat top pistons, and a hot cam (not sure on the details). The block is a "010".
For my first question: I still have to buy the intake and carb. I was wanting atleast 350 HP. What intake/carb combo do you "experts" think? It WILL be a daily driver. And I dont want to have to modify the hood to fit a high-rise intake.
Now for my second: I want to clean up my engine bay. I have decided to keep the computer though. So my question is, can I get rid of the smog/EGR (i do not have to deal with emmisions) mess and keep the computer? Is it a big job to remove? I already planned on removing the EGR because im going to run headers. And by removing the smog mess, will it really even clean up the engine bay?
