what cam should i have?

what cam should i have?

i have a 1987 LG4 Z28

i beleive i should have a one peice rear and a hydraulic roller cam

do i have the peanut cam?

i should really say what cam i had...........the previous owner claimed he put a cam in

The stock '87 LG4 cam should have been P/N 10088155 - the "peanut", or as I prefer, the "LA" cam (LameAss).

It should be easy enough to check whether it is stock by removing a rocker cover and checking with a dial indicator of depth mic/caliper at the valve retainer.
