is it possible to get 300 HP and an equal amount of torque out of an LO3 305 engine. or would it be cheaper to buy a 350 crate engine instead? e-mail me at transamcamaro@hotmail.com if you can help. thanks.

1 HP/ cubic inch at the flywheel is not difficult at all. Getting that power to the rear wheels is a different story, and some will get lost on the way. You can get a lot of power improvement and potentially better fuel mileage by allowing the engine to breathe better.
