Group Purchase on SFCs .... look inside...

Some of us thirdgen guys on the MOFBA (Missouri Fbody Association) message board are trying to get together a group purchase for SFCs. Right now we only have 5 people and I know we're going to need more than that. Right now we don't know what brand or how much they're going to be but we need to see how many people are interested. Post here if you're interested and I'll let you know when I get more info on the brand and cost. You can also visit this link at MOFBA and post there if you like....

I'd be interrested if they went with Spohn.

I doubt that Spohn would do a group purchase. He's always backed up with orders.
I just had a set of his installed and they definately improve the structural integrity of the car.

Me too if Spohn. I was ready to order a set anyway when I found out he is re-tooling for tubular SFC's and STB's.

Steve has already told us he cannot do group purchases, so don't get your hopes up.

As mentioned earlier, it might not be Spohn. I have "heard" that Steve is retooling the SFC line and won't be done for about a month. If everyone is willing to wait, I will contact my source and have him email Steve and see when the soonest is that we can get the GP going. I'm willing to wait.

For those of you that are interested in the GP regardless of brand, let me know too. If we can't get Spohn I think we're going to try Thunder Racing and get either the Global West or Kenny Brown SFCs. Probably the Global West as they are cheaper priced.

SPOHN Baby!

If the GP is for a dual cat bright red setup count me in. I've redone my rear suspension with spohn and would use their SFC too.

I just received a Torque arm that I purchased on a Group Purchase through Spohn. And I recommend it to everyone it is a nice piece! Don't be looking for a huge saving here people he already has awesome prices. All I got was a free driveshaft loop on the GP thats it but its still something off the price.

Global West is out. Thunder Racing says that GW is a PITA to work with so they can't do a GW SFC GP.

The guy organizing the GP is going to call Spohn tomorrow and see how long it's going to be before we can get an SFC GP going.
