Congrats. It's always a good feeling when you hear it fire up for the first time. When I installed my 355 last October I couldn't get it to start and gave up on the first day. Next day I messed with it again and it was just that the distributor was 180 out. Turned the dist. and it fired right up. Very loud with open headers on it and even got the cops called on me the first night.

Good luck with her. Hope she treats you well ... and vice versa.

You bored it ... what, .040 over? I'm not too up on the sizes myself. I just know that a 350 bored .030 over is a 355 and a 350 bored .060 over is a 360. My best friend has a 360 in his '89 Formula ... that thing will flat run.

yeah this thing has been redone good, here are some specs:
4 bolt main block that has been "o ringed"
bored out .040, making it a 357
8.5 compression (everyday driver)
bigger heads that have been port and pollished
ballenced crank
mild cam
performer intake
double chain timing gears
bigger lifters and springs
heddman headers with no cat
supposed to have around 275-300rwhp
