how can i tell if a car is v8 305 or 350 tpi????

 

You'll have to check the VIN, unless someone changed the motors. I believe it's the 8th digit of the VIN or 6th not sure, if it's a 350 then there will be an 8.

8 = 350

F = 305

also, there is an emessions hose routing sticker or another sticker somewhere under the hood that will have the displacement of the engine in liters printed on it in small print.

 

Well, at least in mine, it says "TUNED PORT INJECTION" really big on my motor. ;-)

The plate that has the casting # on it of the block sitting drivers side against the firewall, will say either 5.0L or 5.7L

 

1.) In your subject you said "TPI?" with a question mark, which suggested that you were wondering if it was TPI.

2.) You will notice the winkey smiley ( ;-) ) which indicates sarcasm or joking around. I was joking with you, no need to be ****.

The 350 will have a smaller harmonic balancer then the 305. The 305 is about 1.75 to 2 inches thick.
